We already had a pretty amazing Dekmantel Festival lined up this year. Well now it's going to get an extra special cherry atop, with one of the most influential living musicians in the world: Steve Reich.

Reich will perform alongside The Hague's premiere contemporary classical ensemble, Slagwerk Den Haag, who will also reinterpret some of his finest works; "Drumming", "Music For Mallet Instruments, Voices and Organ", "Pendulum Music" and "Clapping" are all on the agenda.

It will take place within the grand Muziekgebouw, the site for some of our favourite non-dance shows: Terry Riley, Gigi Masin, the annual Online Radio Festival, and more.

Tickets are sold out for this particular Dekmantel opening concert, but luckily you can enjoy the minimalism master on your screens.
