On May 10th we're in Nairobi for the third instalment of our cross-continent True Music Africa tour with Ballantine's. As with Cape Town, South Africa and Douala, Cameroon, this series shines a light on the most progressive creatives pushing boundaries in hyper-local scenes across the continent.True Music Africa is a platform for exploring cultural innovation across four African cities, in this global age of hyper-digitalisation and growth. We'll be showcasing pioneering artists with an entrepreneurial spirit that are contributing to the ground up infrastructure of creative communities.

From progressive creative collective EA Wave to DJs Coco Em and Suraj, as well as such artists as Taio and Muthoni Drummer Queen, we'll expect to hear a range of sounds from afro-house and dance to electro and hip-hop from the pioneers of the #NewNariobi movement.

Each artist will be broadcast to a worldwide audience with a huge appetite for learning about and from this emergent scenes.
